Ryan M. Pesicka
Ryan was born and raised in San Diego, California. After graduating from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Technical and Professional Writing Certificate in 1999, Ryan worked as a technical writer for Unisys in Mission Viejo, California, where he had been working as an intern since 1998. Ryan moved from Orange County back down to the San Diego area in 2003, working as a car insurance adjuster and a lead revenue analyst in 24 Hour Fitness’ corporate accounting department, before returning to technical writing at The UPS Store’s corporate headquarters in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego County.
After returning to school to earn his J.D. at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Ryan relocated to Washington State and was admitted to the bar in 2014. Ryan ran his own firm for approximately four years, handling family law matters, estate planning, personal injury litigation, employment disputes and business law, including contracts and entity formation. Ryan went on to work as a corporate counsel and a litigator focusing on construction defect cases. In 2021, Ryan relocated in order to work in Grays Harbor County as a litigator with a heavy emphasis on family law cases. In addition, Ryan has handled criminal cases and a variety of civil work, including contract disputes and probate.
Mr. Pesicka and his wife reside in Hoquiam with their two dogs, Bella and Lucki. Mr. Pesicka is excited to work with such a seasoned and highly regarded attorney as Mr. Winkelman and is determined to continue zealously representing clients as an associate at Winkelman Law Firm.
